Every person enrolled in this study should have a personal copy of the 194-page Participants Workbook.

The workbook will guide you through each teaching with Scripture references, quotes and notes not included in the presentation.

This curriculum will help you:

1. Define what God’s Word says about character and community.
2. Discover how you are formed by the Salvation Story revealed in Scripture.
3. Describe the ideals, virtues, and practices that form leadership character and skill.
4. Discern how God is calling, gifting, and appointing you to serve.

If you are like most people, the term church discipline brings forward bad feelings filled with fear and anxiety. How do you discipline a person? How do you give grace while holding onto truth?

The manual provides a complete outline of the video teaching with space for you to take notes for personal reflection and small group conversation. In addition, the manual provides points, quotes and Scripture references not included in the video. There is a personal conflict response survey you can take as well as questions for further learning and growth.

The Bible tells us that we are to respond to conflict using the truth with love. Unfortunately, we all tend to over-emphasize one aspect of this equation. Passive and evasive people tend to emphasize love at the expense of truth. Aggressive and defensive people tend to speak the truth at the expense of love. All four responses are wrong! This assessment will help you determine what your conflict style is and how you respond to conflict. Not only will this help you understand yourself better, it is a valuable tool to learning why others respond the way they do. Once we understand ourselves, we can then ask God to help us “fill in the blanks,” so that we can respond in a more godly manner.
