Character and Virtue

Praying through Psalm 23

You are what you love.  What you love is revealed in the habits you keep.  Your habits reveal and shape the narrative guiding your life.

This next week, spend time meditating upon, and praying through, one thought of Psalm 23 each day, as suggested below, noting how your life would change if it were ordered by this story…

Monday: The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

Tuesday:  He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul.

Wednesday:  He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Thursday:  Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Friday:  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
